At New England Hand Associates, our physicians have specialized expertise and broad experience in diagnosing, treating and preventing conditions affecting the bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles, nerves and supporting structures of the hand and upper extremity. Each of our physicians is board certified in orthopedic surgery and fellowship trained in hand surgery. In addition to providing office-based care in Framingham, Milford and Concord, our surgeons are on staff at MetroWest Medical Center (Framingham and Natick), Milford Regional Medical Center and Emerson Hospital, where they provide in-hospital consultation and orthopedic care. New England Hand Associates provides comprehensive hand and upper extremity care – from diagnosis and treatment to rehabilitation – in order to optimize our patients’ functional goals.

graduated from Brown University with honors and studied medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Dr. Jurist completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Tufts-New England Medical Center and finished his training at the University of California at San Francisco Medical Center, where he completed a fellowship in hand surgery and microsurgery. Dr. Jurist started New England Hand Associates in the early 1990s. He is active in national professional societies and serves locally on his community's school board. Dr. Jurist is board certified in Orthopedic and Hand Surgery.

graduated from Tufts University, where he won a prize in the field of biology. He studied medicine at Boston University School of Medicine, graduating as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. Dr. Brunelli trained in orthopedic surgery at New York's Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He returned to Boston to complete a fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at the Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Brunelli joined New England Hand Associates in 2001. He is a member in both local and national societies and is board certified in Orthopedic and Hand Surgery.

graduated from the University of Virginia with an undergraduate degree in biochemistry. Dr. Dietz completed his undergraduate medical education at the University of Virginia School of Medicine, graduating in the top of his class; he was also a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. Dr. Dietz completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Northwestern University School of Medicine in Chicago and subsequently completed his fellowship at the Harvard Hand and Upper Extremity Fellowship program in Boston. He is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery.
